If we would only open our eyes and see how many the blessings the Lord has for those who love Him and obey His word. Blessings for every area of our life, blessings at home, for our family, blessings at our work place, blessings at school, blessings even when we are facing trials and tribulations, blessings in the midst of the storm. We need to read our Bibles and take the Word of God seriously.

This is a very important message. Many Christians believe that they don’t have to do anything; they don’t have to work, to go to school because God will take care of them. But this is very wrong. God teaches us that He will bless the work of our hands, but if we don’t work He has nothing to bless. We are called to be diligent and not lazy. Being an example where we work will bring glory to God. And even if there are times when I feel that no one really cares how hard I work God sees all and He will reward me.

Surprisingly, we are multi qualified for the Kingdom of God – we are called to be soldiers, athletes and farmers. No going back, no running away from the army of God, and we cannot leave the crop on the field, we cannot quit the race. We have to do our best and we have to play by the rules and then we will win the race. We are trained soldiers, diligent farmers and strong athletes.

We are called to be a part in a partnership. There is no such thing as a lonely rider. When we are born again we are born in God’s family. And we all have things to do, to work together for the benefit of the Kingdom of God. There is anointing prepare for our ministries. The important thing is to know that we are called to hold up our hands in the labor of love. And God will remember every little thing that we do, nothing is forgotten. We share the same reward that the ministry receives. But it is in the ministry, in the partnership, that we receive the blessings. I am proud to be in God’s big family.

How can we build if we don’t have a firm foundation in our lives? Pastor tells us that we cannot pick and choose what we will do and not do, obey and not obey. It is a package deal. We must submit to God’s word in every area. We must commit to do His word without hesitation or argument. We have to choose wisely – we want to build with wood, hay and stubble or with gold, jewels and precious stones. It is in our hands. The firm foundation is established by our faith. Jesus is our foundation. The more we grow in God, the more we know and do His word the more we will do things that will please God, things that will make His heart rejoice in us. But we have to remember a very important thing: God’s word is not optional. Too many times we believe that we get to choose what to do or not to do. So we end up doing only the things that we like and seem easy to do and forget to do the right things and sometimes we will have to do things that don’t look so great or even things that we never dreamed of doing. But this is a test like it was for Joseph. God will test our motivations, our ambitions, and our attitude. We have to pass the test of fire!

We often forget that we live in a realm of the flesh but also in a spiritual realm and that our war is not with our family, friends or neighbors. Pastor made me think about our six senses touch, sight, hearing, smell and taste and the most important one of all the spiritual sense. It is very important to stop seeing people as our enemies and see the world with pure spiritual eyes.

You can see this every day, when you have a conversation with people about God and they think that they know the truth and they think that they are right. You can clearly see that they are blind, even if they see. You can see that the devil has blinded the minds of many people with his lies and corruption. Because of pride and arrogance they believe a lie. God’s word is the truth and it’s the only reality that leads you to freedom. Pastor talks about these things in this message.
