My Encounter with God
I went to a Rodney Howard Browne revival meeting and God touched my life and I’ve never been the same. I thought I knew God but I really didn’t. At first I didn’t know what to think about the meeting; but the presence of God was so awesome I could not leave. That night I was touched by the fire of God and could not get off the floor. God healed my heart and took all of the pain of the past and burned up all the junk in my life. I walk with Lord now more than I ever thought possible. Now I go to his meetings as much as I can and I also watch the services live.

Wow! What a testimony. My first encounter with God was also at a meeting. I never knew you can actually have God touch and change you, and to feel His love and His presence. Now I know and I have never been the same. It is definitely a blessing that we can go to a meeting or watch the services live and have an encounter with God.

In 2004, after God moved me here to Tampa, FL, to attend The River at Tampa Bay Church, the Holy Spirit led me to sow my significant amount of jewelry toward the GoodNews Crusades in S. Africa. My late husband was also an evangelist and founder of an international ministry, so we anticipated the enormous financial resources needed to send his team to South Africa for crusades. I was pleased to sow toward such a worthy mission – to save souls for the Kingdom of God! Mass Evangelism is expensive, but necessary to win souls for the Lord. I appreciate his entire family and team members for being obedient, going whereever the Holy Spirit tells them to go, in the name of Jesus! Now, his team is going throughout America on the Great Awakening Tour…going where God sends him, saving souls! I have personally seen with my own eyes great and mighty works: signs, wonders and miracles through the anointing of the Holy Spirit! May God bless him, his entire family, and their ministries, team members and staff for their service to Him!

Although the South Africa crusades were a couple of years ago, the DVDs about the crusades are available. Watching mass crusades is awesome! See for yourself the Move of God, saving souls and setting people free through the Holy Spirit!

thanks for the tip about the South African DVD’s. It stirs my heart when I see preaching to his own nation! and it doubly stirs me because it is going to happen in America like it does in Africa- thousands and thousands rushing to the Lord.

I know exactly what you mean. I grew up in church, and I never even had a clue about the anointing, and the Power of God. It was only after coming to a point of severe desperation in my personal life that I knew in my heart there was more. I began to cry out from my innermost being to God, and He began to visit me in such awesome ways. Then I attended and God touched me in so many ways that I became the person I never imagined I would be. That Fire and anointing gets inside you and changes you. Now I can’t live one day without His Presence.

Louanne-that reminds me of the scripture in Psalms ‘deep calls to deep’ It’s the Heart of God calling to our hearts calling to His Heart! That is why I am so hopeful for America. I recognize that the same thing you described was happening in your heart is happening all over the continent. And the Heart of God is reaching out through pastor to ignite the same fire He ignited in you–on a MASSIVE scale. and it is only beginning. take a look at the pictures and you’ll see the faces of people experiencing their God.
